Histamine


Definition: - It is a protein biogenic amine widely distributed plant and animal tissues. It is formed by de-carboxylation of histadine de-carboxylase. It is stored in mast-cell and basophils.
Histamine is a domain obtained from amino acid L-list dine by de-carboxylation.

Definition: - Chemically it is called imidazole ethylamine. It is a potent biogenic amine & plays an important role in inflammation anaphylactic allergic gastric acid secretion & drug reaction. It is formed by de-carboxylation of histadine de-carboxylase. It is stored in mast-cell and basophils.
